I moved here Dec. ’17 particularly for the swimming facilities. I swim 1-1/2 m. daily and have not been disappointed. Pools are clear, inviting, beautifully appointed facilities. However West Ctr. Pool is the only one kept @ a H2O temp. for serious lap swimming – all others are nearly therapeutic. Suggestion – Contact Billy Sassy, City of Tucson Aquatics Dir. He successfully has maintained city/public pools that satisfy all user populations and predominant H2O temp of 81-82 degrees, other than Edith Ball Aq. Ctr. @ Reid Pk. Zoo area, that accommodates lap swimmers and those needing/seeking therapeutic conditions.
Want to make pool users happy – install “suit spinners.” Saves lives of swimsuits.
