We use CO2 to control Ph and we use an advanced oxidation process for sanitation at Canoa Ranch spa. The amount of chlorine used is very little as a result of this process. Any skin reactions are most likely from substances being introduced into the water by other members: soaps, lotions, oils, etc. that the sanitation system works to combat.
